The luminous universe of Sant Pau<\/h1>\n

A new light show inspired by the universe and our solar system<\/h2>\n

Thanks to a draw for tickets with limited availability, the hospital of Sant Pau gave the possibility to some citizens to admire the new luminous decoration of its facade and of the internal patio. A play of lights and sculptures centered on the theme “The universe of light” that will illuminate the nights until the new year.<\/p>\n

Sant Pau hospital<\/h3>\n

The Santa Creu y Sant Pau hospital<\/strong><\/a> has always been an emblem of decoration and art. In his project, Llu\u00eds Dom\u00e8nech i Montaner<\/strong><\/a> wanted to integrate decorative art into the hospital structure so that the convalescence of patients was more pleasant and kept their morale high. Completed construction in 1930, it remained open until 2009 when it ceased its activity, replaced by a new, more capacious structure. Today it is an exemplary building of the modernist culture, which surprises every visitor who decides to enter it.<\/p>\n

The show<\/h3>\n

From November 26, 2022 until January 8, 2023<\/strong>, the entire enclosure is decorated with lights and video mapping organized by Proactiv Entertainment, DEAG i Handwerker Promotion. A show with 21 installations that branch off for about a kilometer of path, which winds through the hospital garden and its lower floor.<\/p>\n

A play of lights that revolves around our solar system and the typical colors of nebulae and galaxies of the known universe.<\/p>\n

Entrance<\/h3>\n

Tickets can be purchased on the elsllumsdesantpau.com<\/strong><\/a> website. The entry time is from 18:30 until 21:30. A sight to see with family or loved ones while strolling through Barcelona’s most emblematic modernist enclosure, a UNESCO heritage site.<\/p>\n

Barcelona always offers magical moments during the Christmas holidays between markets<\/strong><\/a>, decorated streets and colored lights.<\/p>\n
